Delivered my North Brunswick load Saturday afternoon. My next load picked up at Jersey City, NJ. That is very very close to Lower Manhatten though on the Hudson. That load delivered to La Grange GA this afternoon. I ended up spending the night at the shipper in Jersey City as I didn't want to drive over 100 miles to the first decent truck stop as it was already 8 PM by then. Out of curiosity I checked my Garmin to see what well known landmark may be close by and I was 2 miles west of the Statue of Liberty. Ha, how many people do you know stay overnight so close to Lower Manhatten for free?!
After I delivered to La Grange I then drove to Pine Mountain Valley to pick up my next load. It delivers to McDonough GA tomorrow morning so just a short run this time. No one is here so I found my load and decided to stay the night here at the shipper.

Camped out near the Liberty Lady, eh? Probably many homeless and illegals were also camped near there. Didn't have to be alert for Amish buggy's in that area.
