Hello folks! Delivered my Green Bay load Weds morning then right away picked my next load in Green Bay. Made it to the Service Area on the I-80 toll road at Elkhart IN where I spent the night. Keep in mind this load was to deliver on Thursday morning. Thursday morning I head out to make my delivery and stop at a truck parking area for a quick break. Go to start the truck up and it wouldn't start. It wouldn't turn over at all. So I shake cables and check to make sure everything is tight and everything looks good. Call Breakdown in Lincoln and they send out a mechanic. He changes the solenoid, changes a fuse and looks over everything and still will not start. His diagnosis was it's the starter. By now I'm too late to deliver on time.
I then called breakdown again and they send out a tow truck to make me to the Freightliner shop in Fremont IN. Get there and it's not till 6 pm they are done. Call it a night. Next morning Dispatch lets me know the new delivery time is 1 PM today. Deliver load and get my next load assignment to pick up in Old Fort OH headed to North Brunswick NJ for a delivery tomorrow.
