My daughter had her surgery on Friday and is recovering from that. Doc said she'd be well enough Monday to take care of herself so that's when I hit the road. Was off a total of 11 days taking care of her. It's hard hitting the road again after so much time off.
Picked up in La Porte IN and delivered in Omaha yesterday about noon time. Found a parking spot at the nearest truck stop and waited for a load. Got my next load assignment at 6 pm but it does not pick up till 6 pm tonight. Pick up in Bern KS and deliver to Richmond IN Thursday.

Yeah! Yee Haw! On the road again! Know what you mean about being off the road and having to return. Sucks! Not bad though once you get back in the groove. Watch out fer the Crete Amish Division in Kansas.
Seen you go by here Thursday about thirty times going both directions. Sometimes you were pulling a reefer.
