Delivered to Richmond Thursday afternoon. I then shut down for the night and picked up in Middletown OH early Friday morning. That load did not deliver till the 31st at noon in Charlotte which was less than 500 miles away which meant I'd be sitting for 2 days idle. Dispatch let me drop that load at the Charlotte terminal. I then picked up a load Friday afternoon delivering to Brighton CO on Weds. 1276 miles over 4 1/2 days is an extra 2 days once again. Load can't be delivered early so after this now happening two loads in a row it's obvious dispatch does not have much that's productive. Since I'm routed through Indy I decide to park the truck there and enjoy a day off at home. Why sit in a truck in a truckstop when you can enjoy time at home? So I'll hit the road again sometime tomorrow.

Yeah! Good deal sitting at home for a day, but you could be parked at a truckstop with a good buffet and maybe a Golden Corral or Ryans nearby. Y'all could be eating and eating and eating sum more, eh driver! Over and out!
