Hit the road again yesterday after being down over four weeks for sinus surgery. Let's get caught up!
May 5th I picked up my load in Mt Vernon TX and it delivered to Odessa TX the same day.
May 6th, picked up in El Paso TX, delivered to Coffeyville KS May 8th.
May 8th picked up in Spring Hill KS, was to deliver in Schodack Lodge NY on the 11th but I dropped it at the Crete terminal in Indianapolis on the 9th and headed home for my sinus surgery.
Fast forward to June 11th and I moved into my new truck, not brand new but it's a 2007 versus a 2005 for my last truck. New truck has 180k miles on it versus 510k miles for my last truck. Big difference is my new truck has an APU! Really liking that! Keeps truck warm or cool at a preset temp and it has an inverter with 2 110 volt AC outlets. Inverter is supposed to be powerful enough to operate a microwave so I'll have to get one.
June 13th I picked up my first load after hitting the road again. Picked up in the Indianapolis terminal and I'm back into the dock now in Louisville KY getting unloaded.
