Here is where I'll post pictures, thoughts, experiences while I'm out on the road. I'll try to keep it updated as much as possible.

Lupton, AZ
Driving along I-40 through NM I've noticed this ghost town 40 miles West of Tucumcari. I've always wondered what the history of it is. There are a few residents there but for the most part North of I-40 it's a Ghost Town. Name is Cuervo. Check out the history here.

Yeah! Lots of ghost towns along I-40. The old road ran parallel with it and when the big road opened most of the small towns folded. Arizona probably has more than NM. When I first started going west the interstate wasn't finished at Tucumcari and you had to truck through the center of town. Then you picked it up again and in Arizona it ended and it was back to the two lane roads. It ran parallel with the rr most of the way and long fast moving trains was the entertainment. Didn't have any buffets or problems with Amish buggies. Have fun. Look for the roadside produce stands in the valley. They have plenty of fresh produce at decent prices. Over and out!
