Stinks being in IN, and not at home.
Delivered my Louisville load this AM. Next load picked up at Buckner, KY and delivers to Mira Loma, CA Wednesday morning. Picked this load up this afternoon.
Waited for 2 hours before I got backed into a dock to get loaded. Once I got loaded I took a peek at the load to see how it's loaded. The weight of the load is 42,000 lbs so on the heavy side. When I looked at the load I thought there may be a problem as it looked a bit heavy on the rear of the trailer. So I took the load to the nearest scale and sure enough, trailer tandems are 900 lbs overweight. So had to take load back to shipper to get reloaded. After an hour there getting reloaded I went back to the scale and all is fine this time. This was the first time I've had to return a load to the shipper due to a weight problem. The guys who loaded apologized for misloading it the first time. No big deal, it happens and I have 5 days to get to CA so no rush.

Yeah! Mira Loma is where I stayed with a guy from Thorntown whenever I was in SoCal. Neat little town. Lots of beaners. Have fun! Over and out!
